Join the California Chapter, ASFMRA on Thursday, March 29th for what promises to be a stimulating week for California agriculture! The Spring Ag Outlook conference brings Dr. Christopher Thornberg from Beacon Economics to the Visalia event. Dr. Thornberg is an expert in the study of regional economies, real estate dynamics, labor markets and business forecasting and has established a reputation as one of the states leading economic forecasters. He will deliver an economic outlook for the U.S. and California with a focus on the agricultural sector, including a discussion on global economic connections. Dr. Thornberg will join a highly regarded group of agriculture experts on this year's program, speaking on hot topics from water to land values. Hear from Gary Sawyers (Sawyers & Holland, LLP), Jim Zion (Meridian Nut Growers), Blair Richardson (Enns Packing & WESPAK Sales), Paul Anema, CPA (Gensky, Mulder & Co.), Nat Dibuduo, AFM (Allied Grape Growers) in addition to the panel of California rural property experts who will deliver the 2012 Land Values Presentation.

The conference will be preceded on March 28th by a full day Water and Agriculture Education Tour and the California Classic Barbecue & Scholarship Auction.
